Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy bound in early sprinkled leather (calf or sheep). The spine is ruled in gilt with a brown leather label. A clipping about the author is pasted to the verso of the front flyleaf. Several other clippings pertaining to the death of Thomas Fitzgerald in 1864 are pasted to the verso of the title page and an engraving of Lord Lake is pasted to the verso of the half-title.The armorial bookplate of Edward D. Ingraham is present on the front pastedown. This is the first of two items bound together in a volume titled 1798 rebellion. This volume includes [1]: Memoirs of the different rebellions in Ireland / by Sir Richard Musgrave -- [2]: The year ninety-eight : being another and a truer ballad version of the events of the year of The Great Irish Rebellion
